He's not by any means a sociopath, you're right! He's got the full emotive range and can absolutely develop lasting relationships and connections; he'd just be the sort to neatly point out that most 'moral' shit is immensely subjective, and the very social structures meant to 'govern' morality are often themselves corrupt and abused. So, suck it good guys you're fighting for a broken system that creates a lot of the same criminality you'll spend your entire lives fighting.

He's just gonna get his.

I'm glad you like the light vulnerability! He would undoubtedly have some significant burn-marks and scars, and he'd honestly be vain enough to get corrective surgery if necessary.

How long he can last in light is directly correlated to what kind of light it is and how much falls within the UV spectrum. Direct sunlight is awful, he'd probably be burnt to the point of death within 30 minutes; but if he must be out during the day being under shade really helps... though not enough to make it feel like anything less than walking through a literal oven. Incandescent are probably the next on the level of severity, and standing under them for a workday day might give him a rockin' headache after a few minutes and become unbearable after an hour or two. Fluorescents and LEDs would be mostly acceptable, with your standard workday amounting to roughly the same damage of spending two days on a tropical beach without sunscreen. Sodium vapor lamps, like streetlights and other common large industrial lighting is undoubtedly the safest.

He tries to keep his schedule nocturnal to avoid the worst potential problems, and goes about his life mostly in normal clothes... unless he anticipates needing to stay under light for a long time, in which case he'll probably wear his suit under normal clothes if possible, or cover himself like a victorian lady. Neck to toe clothes, gloves, shades, hoodie, etc.

The full 'villain outfit' would be saved exclusively for missions and heists, because he tries to keep his I.D. as a villain super on the DL.
